Company

Patrovitrans LDA was founded in 1999 with the aim of providing freight transport services nationally and internationally. 

It has started its activity with only one truck,  progressively acquired new trucks over the years and making partnerships that resulted in  about 80 vehicles in order to provide the best service conditions to customers.

Over the years it has gained the trust of the Iberian market for its entrepreneurial spirit and the creation of new solutions

 

The consolidation of partnerships with leading companies in the national and international market is evident in its results, which have been growing progressively. 



At present, it is mainly focused on the continuous improvement of the quality of its services: transport, storage and logistics.


The warehousing and logistics service is the main bet.

1999


Founded in March, in Batalha

The international transport company - PATROVITRANS Lda - was founded in 1999 by the founding partner Carlos Patrocínio, thanks to his passion for trucks, with the only 2 vehicles that the company owned when it started its activity.

2000 - 2006


Knowledge of the Iberian market 

The experience of the field during these years "on the road" allowed us to know all the fundamental operational aspects to respond to customer needs. Since then, the strategic vision has remained mainly focused on the Iberian market.

Infrastructure investment: Fleet park

Park for vehicles, thinking of a response to the continuous improvement in the quality of work to our customers and also improve the quality of working conditions of employees and partners.

Investment in new infrastructure: office 

Sustainable growth drove the company's investment in 2 essential pillars that are part of the inspiration of our mission: the customers and our collaborators: - the construction of new facilities with all the necessary amenities (office)


Achieving the status of PME leader & excellence PME

The PME Líder and PME Excelência distinctions come from persistence; 100% dedication and a lot of effort and work from the hands of the managing partners Carlos and Silvio Patrocínio: the first promoters of the company.

Space for general loading and  foodstuffs. It has all the means of loading and unloading.

Thinking of a bigger and better response to the food industry that lacks temperature-controlled and deep-frozen transport.

Certification of Quality NP EN ISO 9001:2015

PATROVITRANS quality management system was implemented with reference to NP EN ISO 9001: 2015 - Quality management systems, for "National and international road transport of general cargo and national and international road transport of goods at controlled temperature”.

2020


IFS Implementation - Food Safety

PATROVITRANS food safety management system was implemented with reference to IFS Logistics , for the following scope: 

Transport of food products: frozen, refrigerated and at room temperature, such as:

  • Grain products, cereals, products made with cereals, industrial bakery and pastry, confectionery, snacks;
  • Fruits and vegetables;
  • Olive oil and other vegetable oils;
  • Drinks;
  • Animal feeding.

Logistics & Wharehousing  - 15.000 m2

15.000 m2 for warehousing and logistics of general cargo and foodstuffs.

2021

Certification by the IFS norm - Food Safety

In 2021 Patrovitrans Transportes Lda was certified by IFS Logistics with a score of 97.50%.

MANAGEMENT POLICY - What is our intention?


Patrovitrans intends to ensure continuous improvement of the QMS - Quality Management System and EHSMS - Food Safety Management System, through the permanent adequacy of infrastructures and human resources, and thus achieve efficiency and effectiveness of transport services in terms of procedures, food safety of products transported, reliability and cost management with financial return to the partners.


Patrovitrans is committed to improving customer satisfaction, as well as meeting the requirements of the relevant stakeholders, particularly in the promotion and implementation of a product safety culture.


It is also Patrovitrans' goal to ensure the sustainability of its business by acting with environmental, ethical, corporate and personal responsibility in all its activities.
